cant keep brains alive???

    i have been having problems keeping mostly any type of brain coral alive. i have great params and great lights and they seem to do really good for about 1-2 weeks and then they start turning white on top and then slowly die out. any ideas.:cry:

    could they be bleaching

    If you got problems, then pix can make a world of diff as for people being able to see whats wrong. Why dont you post your specs as well.

    I can't tell if that Favia is bleaching or if that's just from the lighting in the pic.

    no thats white is on the coral not the lights

    does it get a white nasty film on it or does it just lose color?
