This is just my personal opinion, but I don't see why the TEK 24in 4 bulb fixturie wouldn't work. TEK fixtures are simply amazing, and I get a cut every time I convert someone over to them(kc knows all about this ;)) lol. But seriously though, do you have a local reef site?

Ha ha I think I am going to go with the 6 bulb 36 inch maybe...I can't decide!

Anyway I don't think so sadly...

If you can afford it I would say go for it, but you will have a little bit of overhang. You don't need to run all of the bulbs anyways, so you can always take one or two out if it's to much. T5's are surprisingly bright, yet put out little to no heat compared to MH's or PC's.

No sadly, but I'm going to give it an hour or so because it took almost that long to start foaming in the rubbermaid.

    Any suggestions?

So you say 6 bulbs are too much or maybe they might be too much? Also, do you have any bulb combo preferences or awesome colors and great growth?

I think you just need to let it sit for a while and break in. It can take a little while, but once it get's going it is a fantastic skimmer. Do not give up on it yet, just have patience :)

Honestly, it sounds like a bit much to me, maybe take one out and see how your corals react. I would ask Dr. Frag what his recommendation would be for you. He's the best person to ask about T5 lighting IMO.

    Alrighty thanks!

I'm talking to someone else and they say the long hose might be too much head for my pump? Whatever that means?

    What pump are you running?

(I'm sorry Claic, but I can't remember this stuff lol.)

I think they might be onto something, here is a really good article that will explain it much better than I could -

    Pump head pressure explained.
