    What is the charcoals intended purpose? If it not aquarium use than I would not. Are those values found on the container? For what reason do you want to use it, algae, yellow water?

    Yellow water... well we dont get brands here, though seachem carbin is available here, its too expensive

    I wana use it for polishing water and remove yellowness.. though purigen is helping me with with it, by almost 70%, i wana use carbon for the rest as it also removes many other things too... though i wana use it only to remove yellow water... seachem carbon is available here but it falls very expensive in long run for larger tanks as we pay double of what u guys pay.... :(

    Water changes have never helped me removing that yellowness... dono why..
