Can I use rain water as Top Off water???

    Consider yourself told otherwise. :) LR does not grow. Also, you don't want the potential for tumbling rock in your glass tank. That's a small piece, but still. . . .

    I do not actually mean that the ROCK grows, if that is what you meant. I meant that maybe the coralline grows and gets out of hand and start to fall off or gets carried aways in the current onto other rocks. Since if I put the rocks where the hermits/crabs/snail can get to them, they eat up all the coralline.

    Hermits and snails rarely eat coralline. You don't have to suspend the rock.

    Ok, I put down the rocks and I slowly stepped away with my arms up...Now I need some of that pesky excess coraline algea from south florida 3reefers to beautify my tank...
