Can i use hot super glue to glue frags to plugs and glue the plugs to the rock? Is it harmful to the water or will it burn the coral in any way?

I would use regular super glue for softies,
you could probably glue the rock together without a problem with hot glue I would think,
YOu may just be better off with epoxy though, for the frag plugs

Hot glue could kill the frag with the heat. I don't know if the glue is safe in our tanks.

Hot super glue?? That's a first. The smell of reg super glue is bad enough, I can image it heated.. The word HOT should never be used with frags. It's bad enough that the heat that epoxy creates when harding can damage frags..

Super glue should be in gel form for softies and epoxy for stonies. The epoxy used for fragging will harden underwater.

Do you mean the HOT super glue with the accelerator? I use that all the time, but you can't get the accelerator spray on the coral. I get my rock and coral ready, put some glue on the rock and give it a small spritz of accelerator. This will give you 5 seconds or so to get the coral in place so you have to act fast.

Hot glue in general is not very strong, plus you'll be killing that part of the live rock. I would stick to the putty.
