Built a canopy today

    I'm not the most handy of people, but I saw some plans online somewhere so I decided to try and build a canopy because I was tired of having to take my light off the aquarium every time I had to get in there. Here's some pics, what do you think.

    This is the last of them, tomorrow I'm going to paint the inside with white appliance epoxy and the outside will be semi-gloss black to match my stand. I also need to get a hook to hold the flap closed because it sticks out just a little.

    Well it looks like it will serve the purpose just fine, so nicely done! I am sure it was far less expensive to build it yourself, plus more rewarding :)

    It was way cheaper than anything I could find online, about $30 for random supplies I didn't have laying around the garage!
