Building an acrylic aquarium...how to?

After asking that question about stories of peacock's breaking glass, I went and googled it myself.

Every article I found said that "some mantis are capable of breaking through aquarium glass. Nothing on how thick that glass is. Also, some of them claimed it was an urban legend that was brought on due to "few occurences". A ten gallon aquarium is 1/8" thick glass. And I'm pretty sure a few fully grown mantis' can break that glass. However, all of the articles simply state aquarium glass, which could be a variety of different types and thicknesses, including tempered or not, 1/8" or not, etc.

This build is still waaay off. So I'd rather not get into too much of a scuttle on what a mantis can or can't break My questions have been answered, and then some. So thank you very much everyone who has helped me out here.
