BUMP should I do something about the "bugs"? What is the safest thing to do for my tank? Is there a chance it could be something bad? If so what would it be? Thanks

You could do a iodine dip for the plate. It should help it heal and will drive the bugs off of it. If no other corals are affected I think your tank will be OK. You will most likely need to dip the plate every couple of days for a week or two.

I have never faced such an issue so I will go out tomorrow to get coral Rx. If these bugs were harmful would they have already affected my other coral? Thanks

I would say most likely, they also may only prey on plates or LPS corals. Just inspect your corals periodically to make sure nothing is getting at them.
