So I have been trying to find out what is happening with my plate coral, and I lifted it....under it I found these clear, small white bugs. I do not think they are pods! What are they? Do they pose a threat to my othercoral? HELP PLEASE!

EDIT: THEY DO HAVE A BROWN TINT IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR BODIES [URGENT]

To small to take a picture even with my DSLR...they just do not show up in the picture....would it be safer to take the plate out, and just do a 1 min FW dip?

No FW for the coral, you will kill it if it is already stressed. If it has decaying tissue, pods are going to come and clean up, as will worms and such. If the coral were healthy they would not do that IMO.

The brown tint sounds like detritus that the bugs may have eaten. For most translucent creatures, the color of their body is the color of the stuff they eat.

    OK...bad suggestion then I guess..LOL
This might sound weird, but it is GOOD TO HEAR THAT THEY ARE PROBABLY PODS. That is what you are saying...right? In other words I have nothing to worry about? What should I do with the coral... it was doing great before a few weeks ago :(
If it is decaying should I just leave it? Do pods ever have brown on them?
    Thanks as always, Corailline
