Unresolved Bubbly red stuff

    I just saw this very small patch of see-through, red bubble looking stuff on my rocks. This is the best picture I can get of it. Sorry for bad quality...

    The first thing that came to mind were some sort of eggs. :confused: Kinda look like the ones in "Finding Nemo". Except I have no clownfish or pair of fish for that matter.

    Anyone know what these could be?

    BTW, the other red circles are corraline algae. The bubbles I'm tanking about are right in the middle.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Looks a lot like red bubble algae.

    Yep.

    Remove the rock from the aquarium and pull these off of it without popping them.

    Do not attempt this while the rock is still in your display.

    I have this on one of my rocks, i dont mind the look of it. I just left it..

    Is this stuff going to take over a tank?

    algae of any type is designed to take over.

    Its never popped before..It just stays on this one rock..Never seen it anywhere else.
