so as the title states my bubble is getting BIGGER! it is now touching the glass and some bubbles are starting to pour onto the near by rocks.

What should i do? i havent even fed this thing yet but will attempt tonight. is it ok to just leave it or will i be forced to move it?

EDIT: i just measured this thing and it is now 7 inches in length by 6 width

Very nice looking coral. How long have you had it? My guess is that at the store, it wasn't fully inflated and is now. I never feed my lps and they do just fine. My bubble hasn't spread, it can't b/c of how it is positioned, but it has gotten much fuller. Bubbles are one of my favorite corals.

I didn't even buy my bubble corals they were all hidden treasures of my LFS's rubble rock - they just started to pop up when I put the rock in my tank and turned the lights on.

ive only had it for one week. so you think it will only grow as big as the space that its in, it doesnt have much more room. it just grows so fast, my zoas havent even grown and i think ive had them for almost a month now

wow what an awesome hitchhiker i got this guy for $50, that was at the 3 or 4 inch size

also how hard is it to frag the bubble coral? if its to hard for a beginner should i just leave it be? Another question i heard some corals split when they get large, is the bubble a splittling coral?
