    So i bought a spiral gorg and the rock it came with has come bubble algae on it and some other types. how do i prep this before i put it in my tank? i do plan on dipping it, is that good enough? it will be coral revive dip

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Manually remove it with a soft brush as able. You can also dip the rock in or apply hydrogen peroxide to the areas of algae. Please research the use of hydrogen peroxide for this use. The vast majority of dips will not affect the algae.

    manual removal is the best way to go and then add the peroxide to get rid of any possible spores near removal site.

    they are right with the treatment and removal. Remove it before you get it in your tank lol. Otherwise you will go nuts trying to clean your tank of it. That's the mistake I made and now it's always an ongoing battle for me. Nothing worked better than manual removal.
