I just walked into my room and brown stringy stuff was coming from my sebae anemone. What is this? It can't be good. It was at least a foot long of the stringy brown stuff. It might have been coming out of its mouth? Sorry no pic I don't have a camera at the moment.

    Thanks everyone.

Extra zooxanthellae waste. It is a good sign of a healthy coral or anemone but you will still want a good skimmer to filter it our.

When they do this often times they shrink tight and deflate all tenticles as well. Some new to nems think somethings wrong. But its a sure sign your nems eating.

Now if the mouth opens wide and you see white-ish loops coming out. Its either dead or dieing.
