I recently purchased a Orange Shoulder Tang that has developed some spots on him. This happened about 3-5 days after I got him. Tank parameters are all in check. Fish acts fine, swims around all day, eats seaweed on clip and eats like a pig.

Any suggestions on what this is?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks like Black Ich to me. Just a guess but looks very similar. I will see if others concur and dig up some links if you need them. It is not similar to Marine Ich in the least.

The spots you see are actually spots of blood from the parasitic worm attaching or burrowing.
