Okay I noticed one of the heads on my acan has this disease, I read you can treat it with Hydrogen Peroxide or Iodine. I don't have Iodine but I do have HP, how much should is use to treat the acan and how long should I soak it?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I do not know enough about the use of HP, I do know that is has to be VERY diluted. You can get iodine at any pharmacy. Before I used HP I would be more tempted to just remove piece from display and clean it off in some tank water first. Personally I have never been able to save a LPS once brown jelly set in.

    Good luck.

Okay, I will see how it goes...how does this disease spread? through contact? All my other corals are at least 8 inches away from this piece, will they be ok?

Thanks for the link, I will pick some iodine up at my LFS later today and do a dip. The acan overall looks very happy and has nice flow, also it is growing very quickly.
