Yeah, Roger, before we start trying to figure out what it is, etc. and put together a plan, etc, look in the links. It may have already been done! Let's not re-invent the wheel, dude!

    Hey Roger,

How's that brown and green algae doing? I'm sure you found some info in the links, but I was just wondering how the algae was doing in your tank, right now? Is it a problem?
    ???

its not too bad. it's only on my live rock and a small piece of fake coral is almost all brown, but on one of the links it told me to just give it time and the coralline would out-compete the green and brown for nutrients, and then they would just kinda die off. i used a powerhead to blow some of it off of the live rock, but otherwise i'll just keep it off the front and side glass and wait for it to go away naturally. :)

Funny You should ask me that question Roger,,,
I took this handle not because I'm a big Chess fan, rather because of a TV show named, Sarge with Vic Morrow, back in the 60's,,,
There were two platoons, one was CheckMateKing1, and Vic Morrows was CheckmateKing2, so that is why I chose that handle,,
I do play Chess though, hehe
