Anyone have a birdsnest with some algae forming on some branches. My koralia 1 is 6 inches slightly over it. I moves it 2 inches more over today. I read they like a lot of flow but maybe it was too much flow over it. This pic was taken at night

Are you sure that's algae (the picture is too small for me to tell).

Excess nutrients can brown out Seriatopa

What are you phosphate and nitrate levels?

    Birdsnest

I test with API Liquid and Nitrates is 0 and Phosphates is also 0. I use kalk mixed with my top off water which precipitates phosphates. I used to also run phosban. I have a lot of coralline algae growth but thats it. Not sure if this little algae on the birdsnest if from flow or nutrients. I just noticed a hard brown algae on my powerhead. I will take it out and clean it. Ill get some more phosban
