    one more thing: after formalin dips dont put the fish back in the DT, because the formalin dips are practically made useless

    He is in qt now, bought another tank everything I read about brookynella says that formalin is the only true treatment, could I do hypo now he has been dipped twice in formalin? And always do daily water changes when fish are in qt, my daily ritual :)

    you can do hypo; IMO hypo is more effective, but then again I only speak from experience of ick. Maybe look up more on hypo and brookynella, although I've heard that it does work as well. definitely do water changes daily in an uncycled tank for a sick fish

    Actually I've seen hypo and formalin being done together, so maybe you might wanna look that up as well

    If you are using 37% Formalin, you should NEVER combine this with hypo. It's OK if you are using 3% Formalin.

    well yeah a small amount of formalin; that would make more sense
