breeding clowns... or cardinals

well i am about to setup my 120 gal tank in the next month when everything come in.. and have a 55 gal leftover. So i was thinking of setting up a breeding tank.

How much work is it really?
What is a good beginner fish to start with?
I know those books are good to have but before I buy the book, can someone give me a run through on how much of a job it will be. (don't want to buy the book and then not breed)

never bred any SW fish myself , but I reckon with a spare 55, you should give it a try
