For some reason my 10g freshwater tank hasn't been very active for the past few weeks. The fish seem to just hide all day!:( the current stocking is 4 neon tetras and 2 bloodfin tetras. Why are they not swimming?

Btw one of the bloodfins has some kind of scale rot fungus.

Have you made sure you don't have any ammonia, nitrite or nitrate issues? If those are all zero, you may want to try melafix or pimafix to try to cure any fungal infection.

Do they have any white spots on them? or have limbs (fins) that don't move as they should?

I would pull the bloodfin, I think you are right about Neon Tetra disease.

Where do I take it? No ones going to want it. The other fish seem fine other than hiding all day. They all eat well.

Alright. How? Are my other fish at risk? It's been in there with this disease for two months now.

I read that taking a container of tank water with the fish in it and then floating the container in a larger container of ice water is acceptable. Or I could get someone to decapitate it.
