Does anyone have any experience with these? They are in a tank at the LSF but they aren't for sale, and they said they cant find anywhere to buy any. I want some really bad, they are so pretty and would look so good in my tank, lol. Are these hard to keep? What kind of lighting do they need? Does anyone know where I can buy them online? I tried looking up pictures, but i couldnt find any that looked similar. Does anyone have pictures of these gems?

Ive never heard of blue star polyps. If they are similar to green star polyps, then they should be pretty easy to keep. I've been on many coral websites and looked at hundreds on sites that sell corals and have never even heard of a blue star polyp. Of course that doesn't mean they don't exist. They must be pretty rare.

Well, the fish store people said they didnt know what it was. Then the husband came out and said, "oh, yeah, those are blue star polyps." I looked up some clove poylps, and they do look similar to that. But they were bright blue and really pretty. Next time Im in the store, Ill snag a quick picture. They are really pretty, and they've had it for a really long time. They said it hasnt grown a lot, but when I look around the tank (cube at front counter) I see more growing all over the other rocks.

They looked like this, just coving the entire rock. Very pretty if you ask me.
