So someone in my area is selling a blood red shrimp and a RBTA and has given me the price of $85. This seems like a very good price but i wanted a second opinion.

There should be nothing wrong with either, he is moving and selling everything off is why he is selling.

I asked for a picture of the anem so I will post it here if he sends one if you guys think that is necessary.

IMG_1135.jpg Does 85 sound like a good price for this and a blood shrimp?

I would pass. Shrimp go for 10-15, and I picked up a 8" RBTA on a 5lb live rock with a tomato clown for $40. Compared with store prices, it's not bad, but at that price I would prefer to get from a store I trust.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Where I live that's a deal I would take. That poor anemone looks like it's getting loved to death by that Maroon.

I agree, that's a good deal for a nice looking nem. I've never seen a fire shrimp go for less than 25 dollars where I live unless you know someone. I say buy it, that nem is nice.

I would say average for Blood Red Shrimp is $25, and $50 for the RBTA bought from a local reefer, $75 from a LFS. Either way, its in the range so go for it!
