Bivalve hitcher (with crappy pic)

    If someone knows what this is from this gif, I'll update the subject. haha!
    It appears to have two sides, some sort of frilled "gill" looking deals, (filter feeding?) and it has a pineapple sponge growing on it. o_O
    You can see it move shut when it notices light.

    That's what actually caught my attention to begin with!

    :D I guess I'm just good at it ;)


    Could it be some sort of bivalve creature? It does close us when it retracts and the frilly gill(y) things. haha


    don't lose any sleep over it, who knows how long it's been there!

    Well I can not tell from the image/video/google, but sounds like a bi-valve and a rock boring one obviously.

    Yeah, the image sucks. :oops: Todd was over tonight (asking about it) and I had moved the rock, it's still there, but now facing the back. I'll have to rotate the rock and get out the dslr.

    However, if you need help, I can count some Wisconsin sheep for you? :D
