So next week I am 21 .......................... Anyway, because I have been a good boy, I am going to treat myself to a nice nano reef for my office.

    Thinking 30-40 gallons.

Want to do SpS, LPS and everything :)

Don't want a sump, just the tank, a all in 1 would be great.

Budget - want to keep under $700 if possible, but might squeeze some more out of the piggy bank for the right set up.

So come on, let me have it.

    I have rock, and sand.

Will need, tank, heaters, power head(s), skimmers, lights (led)

I like the novo cube, and also some of the nano cubes, my local fish store is telling me to buy a cube, and then just add live rock, powerheads, skimmer, heater, sand and salt water, let it go for a month or 2 and then start adding stock. Just do 10% water changes twice a month ?

I still like the sounds of having some filtration in the back and potential for a fuge etc hidden away in there ?

I have this exact set up running right now, mine came with the single bright LED (okay for FO but not great colour). Love the tank, run a single Jaeger heater in my Aquaclear 110 HOB. As Vinny said, filters removed just some Carbon. Plan on purchasing a few pieces from InTank (sponsor here) to add in the Aquaclear (media basket and skimmer), probably going to add LEDs and go full reef. Great size tank and water changes are simple (5 gallons a week/bi-weekly).

Also came with stand (same as pictured) and glass top. Tank, stand, top, and light came as combo from Petsmart for a little over $200 (canadian) but have seen it onsale for much less.

I had 2 of them(The Marineland 27 tanks) only 1 now. 1 sprang a leek pretty low so super glued it until I could get replacement tank(out warranty) so went different tank.

My daughters is running fine(freshwater) for a few years now.
