Picking up two birdsnests tomorrow, green and pink, each about 7 inch pieces, he's asking 100 for both, good deal? And how difficult are they to care for?

sounds very reasonable for colonies... i just paid 50 for 5 nice frags and thought it was a hell of a deal... id be all over two huge colonies for 50 a piece... easier of the sps to keep if your monti's are happy you're probably stable enough and have enough light. This is from my relatively limited experience... take it for what its worth... not an expert by any means!

I thought so too! Even if the pink looks a little bleached I can nurse it back

I'm not an expert by no means but I can give you my experience with both kids of birdsnest...
I recently did same thing & bought 2 colonies of same birdsnest.. as they are a hardy sps coral they can get stressed easy in shipping or anything & once that happens they don't like to come out of it easy... needless to say mine came stressed & I lost my green birdsnest & now i baby my sour apple birdsnest back to great health.. now pink (or ponape) birdsnest is doing fine but it was less stressed.. also my birds of paradise birdsnest is doing good to...
So just acclimate well & keep eye on them for a little while & you should b fine... if by chance it arrives to you with tissue missing frag the bad out after acclimation & place in tank...
    Beautiful pieces!!! Good luck!

Looks more like a ponape. They aren't the most colorful to begin with. That one actually looks pretty colorful to me.

Should I transport them in a bucket? And how should I acclimate them?
