    Bio media reactor project 2009-2012
Hello everyone my name is Slawek. For over 15 years I enjoyed my saltwater aquarium.
    Tank size is 120 USG,sump 55 USG,two Mp(40,60) and Led lightning.
Another hobby of mine is building my own filtration systems. 4 years ago I started experimenting with new NP biopellets filter media. Several different filtration reactor , many mistakes ,countless hours and don't mention my lack of experience with acrylic.
I was finally successful to build reactor which help me understand how I can squeeze more bacteria and clear water with NP pallets. As a new member of this forum let me clear something. My post is to share my experience not to sell you anything.
Over few years I read many posts an Internet. Many people are successful and some don't with this filtration. Currently I run 1.7 L NP pellets. Last water change was done 2.5 years ago-my Tank has very nasty ich outbreak. I lost my tank, only solution was to kill ich with fresh water. In the same time I decide to get much more involve to find solution how to approve my filtration system. Biopolymer box wos create for this reason.
Using two different pumps allow me to try different scenario of water movement in reactor chamber, timers was also very helpful. By using pump from skimmer I was able to boost oxygen level and lower Co2 in my filtration system. There is also few more home-improvement in my filter.Fortunately those little adjustments still are in testing stage.....
I just hope some of you Will be interesting in my project. Any comments are always welcome
Sorry for any mistakes but English is my second language.
