I've tried with each tank set up, to per set my LR but it has always failed. Mainly because the technique was poor. I've tried drilling and using acrylic rods, then drilling and cable ties

This build I will be using a lot of base rock that I have had in storage for some time. I would like to some how Glue the rock together . Any suggestions on glu
    Thanks

Plumbers 2-part epoxy works well. Make sure you use a good amount, spreading it around each joint. I was able to pick up 60 LBs of dry rock, guessing 6-8 pieces, put together strictly with the epoxy. If I were able to put my scape together before my cycle, I'd use a combo of the epoxy and 3/8" vinyl threaded rod/nuts.

I would imagine because this is made for aquariums it's going to be quit expensive?

I've used JB water weld with no ill effects. Skimmer ran a little for a day but that was it.

Here's a link to the product info. It sets very hard, so you don't need to use much.

    EPO-Putty

EPO Putty is a revolutionary two part epoxy putty that is totally reef safe.
It is unlike any other epoxy putty that you have ever used.
Some of its advantages over other epoxy putties out there are:
Cures rock solid and will not pull away from rock work after curing.
    Will not effect aquarium pH.
Will not cause protein skimmers to overflow.
Cream color closely matches that of reef rock.
Can be applied on both dry or wet surfaces and even cures underwater.
No shrinkage; it can be drilled, ground or filed if need be.
No other epoxy putty on the market compares to EPO putty.

You can go to any home improvement store and find the plumbers epoxy. It comes in a tube. Many aquarium companies sell the same thing, just at twice the price. That epoxy dries as hard as your rock is.
