    it might work if you get the white leds. make sure its close to the cheato. so basically the led light $30 with shipping..

    try ebay seeing how you dont have a car right now.. at least with the CFL you'll know you got the right stuff.

    GROW BULB 100w output CFL 6500k or 2700k - eBay (item 230488353505 end time Jun-16-10 18:24:00 PDT)

    get the clamp on fixture with a 6500k and your set. all for $20 bucks.. and you can go buy some cheato with the other $10 bucks.

    awesome thanks night rida! yeah they( drs. foste and smith) dont really have any options for lighting small refugiums! thanks for going the extra step to help me out! But that is way to big for a small 14gal nano! It would block my MH! I think im just gonna skip ordering lights from Dr. Foster and smith and just order some underwater 5watt lights to grow my cheato!

    ok you can take the reflector off and get a CFL flood bulb. or a light socket on a cord.. you'll make it work.
