I just am so unsure about the DIY though. I feel like I would mess it up. There is soldering and everything....the whole 9 yards. By the way my oscar is looking MUCH better today. The pop eye is pretty much all gone.

Sorry to show up a bit late on this one.

The $110 constraint is tough. I could give you a DIY option, perhaps even with solderless connectors, but it'll easily get over your budget.

If you can't afford a bit more, considering it's a zoa/ric tank, you might want to consider something like: PAR30 Reef Lamp Kit by BoostLED

Or just buy an Ecopico and have everything you need...
Adding two of their blue strips would make it pop 8)

Yea I know im trying to keep this one on a low budget :)
I am leaning toward the BoostLED par30 with the reef clamp because then I will not have to worry about finding a fixture. Thanks everybody!
Is there a 90* optic BoostLED par30? Will that provide good coverage? Or is there only a 60? Would a 60 provide good coverage?
    Thanks!

Is there a 90? It doesnt show one on the site. Also will even a 90 cover the whole thing?
    Thanks, Evolved

Oh, I don't know. I assumed they were by virtue of the question. :D

One won't cover the ends of the tank very well, but it's probably you're best bet with LED per your budget.
