Best Metal Halide Bulbs For The Money??

I am getting ready to replace my metal halide bulbs, Is one better than the rest. Cost vs. performance?

 

I've heard a lot of good things about the SPS (South Pacific Sunlight). Thats what i plan to replace mine with.

 

Mogul or DE?

Don't ever get the cheap one's off of Ebay, they have such low PAR and a really short life, compared to better quality bulbs like Ushio and SPS blue life's bulbs.

Fast Growth
Great Colors
Natural Colors

Or a combination.

Also, each bulb will perform differently on different ballasts.
What ballast are you running?

 

looking for around a 14 or 15k kinda a nice ballance in color and growth
the balast are the stock odessey balast which came with the fixture.

 

SPS blue life would be my choice, Ushio's are really nice. But a little yellowish IMO compared to others. Although the Ushio's will probably have much better growth, if you don't mind the yellow hue given off.

 

Any perticular place you order from?
