Maroons can be a pain to get to pair up, but after they are paired and bonded, they can be bred captively. Live aquaria sells captive bred maroons, so it's possible to breed them. I have a bonded pair of maroons now and hope they will spawn soon, as soon as the male matures enough to do so.
Clowns will spawn when they have tank mates, though it will depend on the tank mates they have, and the clowns themselves, if they want to or not. My LFS has a pair of breeding percs in their DT and they have all kinds of stuff in that tank, including octopus in critter cages to keep them secluded. That tank is extremely stable, so they use that tank to acclimate very sensitive life. They laid eggs 5 times now on their rock next to their anemone, so anything is possible.
