So I'm new to reefing, and I'm building a 75 gallon tank with a 1-1/2'' bulkhead, a 30 gallon sump/fuge with an eheim 1262, 6'' reef octopus needle wheel, and a 6 bulb fixture i got from homedepot.com with individual reflectors for $140 shipped, its 48''x18'' and it fits perfectly in the custom hood I made heres a link Lithonia Lighting 6-Light T5 High Output White Fluorescent High Bay-IBZ 654 at The Home Depot for anyone that wants to use this great value of a light also the ballasts are wired separately 4x2 if you want to wire it up like I did so you have a little flexibility of having all 6,4or2 lights on at a time.....

NOW for my question whats the best combo of bulbs to use for best color and coral health I'm gonna go with all giesemann bulbs... thx in advance!

Be careful with that fixture. Theres no reflectors and is not designed for aquarium use at all. It will probably rust out in months and no matter what bulbs you have they won't penetrate the water.

He said they have individual reflectors. I cant speak for Gieesmann (haven't owned them), but alternating 3 ATI Blue Plus and 3 ATI Coral Plus would be nice.

Use 3 each Actinic+ and either Aquapink or Aquablue.

Most likely 6 bulbs will be too much. I suggest 4 bulbs. Just use 2 of each color.

Most definitely, I used one for over a year on my reef tank.

That's awesome. To think I spent twice that on my 6 bulb current pro fixture:-/

lol, i know, i spent over $600 on my ATI sunpower and turns out I can only run 4 of the 6 bulbs without scorching everything.
