"Barefoot bandit" caught in the Bahamas

LOL! He made it to the Bahamas and got caught! The kid definitely got around. This town, Yankton SD, is about 30 minutes from where I live:

I like the fact that he was able to go so far & do so much w/o the police even catching him until now. haha. I think that says something.:

 

It sure does.. it says he's gonna be some dudes best new special friend for the next few years while he's serving out his escape and intra-state felonies sentence in an adult institution. Hope being free was worth it.

 

I meant about the police & not being able to catch him. But that too.

 

If only outdoor survival skills applied to prison, his stay could end up being much more entertaining and informative.

 

not to justify any of this kid's antics... but I must admit I followed the news reports out of curiosity and a little bit of rooting for him... terrible, I know.

 

I wonder how many of his fans would still be fans if they were the ones being robbed

 

true dat. I'm not exactly a fan. But I do enjoy the story. (I like entertaining villains, what can I say)

 

I was kinda rooting for him. lol. He had made it so far.
