I have two Banggai Cardinalfish that I've had for a little over a week. Neither of them are eating. One will at least come out at feeding time and try some food, but spit it all back out. I've tried frozen mysis shrimp, ocean nutrition prime reef food, and new life spectrum small fish formula. Everyone else in the tank eats fine, just not these guys. I've tried turning off all the powerheads and spot feeding them, but they wont eat then either. Both are starting ot look rather scrawny. Any ideas?

    Thanks

I would see what they where eating at the LFS and get some of that. Then you can move them over to your normal food later

They said frozen mysis shrimp, same thing they sold me. But i'm not sure how well they ate there either, they only had them a week.

Did you see them eat at the LFS?? They might not have been eating there.

Typically they don't eat if wild caught.

I'll try that, Rod's Food website says my LFS carries it. I also tried soaking some mysis in garlic and using a syringe to get it near them. They definitely perked up and were interested, but still don't think they ate any of it.

Yea I didn't ask if they were wild or not. I'll call and find out today.
