    Here's a pic of the ballast box I just finished. I'll be putting it up with the DIY hood tomorrow sometime. The fans for the ballast are DC computer fans hence the power converter in the box. I'll be posting more later on!! ;)

    Here, as promised, a combo pic of the hood and ballast box. Note the harness I rigged for the ballasts(that way I can easily unplug the box from the hood) They are each a nine (of which I used eight) wire harness with 16AWG wire that I spliced to make 2.5 feet long. The 220W Electronic Ballasts, BTW, I got at HelloLights for $35 each. Each has a 5 year warranty.

    That ballast is wild DX!
