    Hey all,

    I have a wave point dual lamp 48 in fixture Thinking its about time to replace the stock bulbs with something better, as I have noticed a bit of a change in color with the stockers. Thinking of ATI's aquablue special and blue plus or true actinic, good combination? Any other recommendations? Currently have zoa's, toadstool and giant polyp duncans, but plan on getting others, mostly softies or lps.

    Hey guys,

    Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I figured this would work out better than starting a new one, and the search function wasn't being too friendly to me.

    Anyways..it's come time for some new bulbs again, of course I'm going with ATI's as usual but looking for a different combo. I liked the AB special and blue+ combo, but I was thinking maybe going with a coral+ instead of one of the two. Thinking replacing the AB special with it and running a coral+ and blue+ or just doing both coral+'s from some of the pictures I've seen on here. Corals and fish seem to be doing fine with the current combo, I would just like to get a little more color and growth out of them. I currently have a large colony of Radioactive Dragon Eye Zoas that has been spreading like a weed lately, a Giant Polyp Duncan that had one head when I got it and now has three more, 3 decent sized neon green Rhodactis shrooms one of which has split recently, Toadstool leather, and a Grape Cristata with two heads that also seems to be doing well. Also a couple frags of each of these corals except the Duncan and Cristata.

    So..just looking for some insight or previous experience with any of these bulb combos and what has worked/looked best.

    Looks great! Keep in mind this is only a 2 bulb fixture though.
