Resolved Astrena star?

    I found this star on the back of my tank
    Is it an Astrena if it is should I remove or fuge
    It looks like it

    It's most accurate to say that it's an asterinid, meaning that it's one of many species in the family Asterinidae. The little ones are very hard to identify even to genus.

    Most of them seem to be reef safe except that they can rapidly reproduce & cover everything. Some species seem to target corals. Just to be on the safe side remove it from your system.

    Definitely asterina. I've never had an issue with mine, and I love them, but I've heard of some problems, though that is rare.
