    we had the same thing happen to a fellow firefighter ended up in the hospital for awhile just got home actually after little over a month with low 02 sat and had a temp over 100 so i only wish you the best pack and my prays will be with you and your family keep us updated

    My dad is doing better. He is at home, and is on oxygen. We went to the doctors today and he is definitely improving. His 02 saturation is high 80's/low 90's off of oxygen. when we first got him in, it was mid to high 70's.
    Sorry I didn't post for a while. I also developed complications with my respiratory system after H1N1. I got a wicked case of bronchitis. All in all I was bedridden for a week pretty much. In a week and half (from the date I got H1N1) I have lost nearly 40 pounds. But my lungs sounded clear today, and I got cleared for a limited work schedule (about 6 -8 hours a week).
    Let me say this. I was on the front lines of making fun of swine flu, but this stuff is no joke. If you have not been vaccinated, please do so. Also, get the pneumonia vaccine while your at it. This stuff is turning out to be even worse than projected. And believe me, when you suffer the complications, it's even less fun.
