on Rapidled... say I can run red at 1000mA.

This what mike from rapidled suggested for me.

14 white on one driver
14 royal blue on one driver
4 royal blue/6 blue on one driver
2 red/6 UV on one driver

 

ok good! My bad, i must have looked at it wrong! That helps!

Personally, I hate not going with Mike as he is the man, but seeing as how you have 2 heatsinks I'd mix up the blues and rb's on 2 drivers, that way you can simplify some wiring and only run 1 set of drivers jumpers to each heatsink and not have to jump those colors between the 2 heat sinks! Also that way, ya can a couple to each driver evenly in the future!

Still leaves 2 whites, but hey, ya may miss a solder! Plus you're gonna upgrade so thats 2 less to buy next time!

1st Led are mounted...



An Hour later...


I have to go work now. I still have Royal Blue and UV need to be mounted on. Hopefully, I have time tonight to finish mounting the light on. And do the wired also tonight, and everything finish up tommorow.

 

Looking good! been away for a week! going to work on the mount and may be finish up wiring tonight! Hm....The Buffalo Sabres are playing tonight! hockey or led?? ;P

 

BTW ....those black heat sink looks good!! I should have get the black one!

 

bout time get your sun glasses ready. seriously, when you test each light, put sunglasses on.

LOL.. BTW.. I don't have a controller yet. How do I set the white to like 30%? I am thinking turning the current down to like 500 mA on white for now?

 

It will look even better under my black canopy ..heheh..

 

Where can I buy this kind of screw at? I have try home depot today but no luck. Can't find it small enough to fit. I still have 20 LEDs to screw on the heatsinks.
