Resolved are these snail eggs?

]I'm not even sure what kind of snail this is... is it laying eggs? are they ok?

 

Not sure about this type of snail but most snails lay their eggs just above the water line.

 

I know it's always buried in the sand... it has like an elephant trunk appendage... and it really only emerges during feedings?

 

Yep, it's a Nassarius in the "N. reeveanus complex" that's laying eggs. The pelagic period of the larvae is long enough to make it unlikely that you'll end up with a bunch of baby Nassarius, but the eggs won't hurt anything.
