i did some research on brain corals before i bought my trach. i thought most of the "smaller" polyp brains were harder to keep, but liveaquaria has it listed in beginner section, so i guess its ok. maybe someone else will know more.

im kinda torn pan. the plate coral , since its substrate based, not sure if you will have enough lighting for it. the brain i think you could keep a bit higher up and be fine. and the green apple, unless you can keep it quite high up, not sure how well that would work. also with it bein an sps. your water has to be really good and stable. without enough strong lighting, may get some serious color fade, and that seems not worth it. these are all my opinions, and i could be wrong. which i have been before. but very cool selections.

i would probably avoid the green apple cap just cause its sps, although it is really cool looking. it is very general but sps need high water quality and lights. if your planning a mixed reef i would start with a sps

IMO, I'd wait till the tank is a bit more mature and then start out with some softies like zoas or xenia. There is still a lot of stuff to mature in the tank before it becomes stable.

Your problem is the actinic bulbs. They have minimal PAR. Replace them with ATI blue plus or the Geisemann equivalent. Then you could keep the corals you have on your wish. I would hold off on the SPS until you get your dosing and husbandry skills honed.
