    Bettas tend to only be aggressive towards other betta males. I kept one with my baby arowana for 6mo......The arowana started looking at him with ominous intentions so I moved him before he became a light snack. You can get the "show" bettas that if from a good breeder look AMAZING.

    $30 for a betta is the last thing I'd like to spend but they are
    amazing:)
