    they are lethargic and are staying close to the sand. they are also eating very little food. what is wrong, the fire fish and the chromus are all fine
    plz help:confused::confused::confused:

    Hate to be vague, but to my experience, this can be a sign that either their days are numbered, OR they're just adjusting.

    I've seen it go both ways.

    Unless there's something going on of which you're not aware--everything might go well.

    You may know clowns (amphiprions) are relatives of damsels and are known not only for their "just as mean" personality, but they are almost every bit as hardy as a damselfish. Damsels are frequently used for cycling.

    Chances are you clowns will make it through. When I was a newb, I cycled a tank using a clown at the behest of someone here on 3reef that I trusted. That clown is still with me. They're fighters.

    What are the params of the tank?
    Did you ensure that they are captive bred clowns during the purchase?

    have had the fish for 6 days
