I have a guy tying to sell the reactor to me for my 90 because ive been looking for one. What he's telling me thst it'll do fine for a heavly stocked lps tank that I want but not an sps. Debating wheather or not I should go for it because id hate to buy jt and waste my money on somethjng that's undersized. Hes selling the complete (noid and every thing else) for $100. Input and thoughts?

I have this unit and will be using it on my 55 soon. Honestly, in a LPS system, it should be fine. You could always add a second chamber down the road if need be, but ultimately, with it being undersized, you will just be adding media more often.

I'll say this, I would buy it for $100 for the solinoid , pH controller, CO2 tank etc. alone.

with adding more media wouldnt I have to monitor it more carefully?

I was thinking the same thing for the rest of the equipment so I may do it for just them and maybe upgrade to a bigger reactor later

No, I wouldn't think so. You would use more CO2, but having a second reactor will help reduce the pH drop that is commonly felt by using a reactor.

I would start with the one reactor. It should meet all your needs.
