Okay, I know you guys are probably tired of reading all my posts, but I have another question...

I have a AquaC Remora Protein Skimmer, not the Pro or Nano models, with the Rio 800 pump. I am curious as to how big of a pump I can put on this skimmer. I plan on putting this skimmer in my sump and I want it to be able to process at least 300gph. Does anyone have any experience with this? I know some of you have used an AquaC Remora and figured you guys could help me.

I have seen people use them with the Maxi Jet 1200.That will give you 295 gph.;)
I don't think it can handle much more then that though.

Like vinny said, maxi jet 1200. I had one and had a hard time getting it dialed in.

I figured the max GPH should be around 300. I am currently running at half that or less, depending on how worn the Rio 800 is. I will be buying the recommended pump or equivalent for it when it goes in my sump.
