    I have aqua medic 2500 protein skimmer i know its not the best i took it out and cleaned it and now as soon as i turn it on the collection cup fills up with water how can i fix this or what can i do to stop it from filling up so fast

    You have to back down the water level inside the skimmer. That will make the skimmate drier. Once the skimmer breaks in after a few days you can readjust for the type of skimmate you want.
