    i seen vids on youtube of people doing it, does it work? would it be worth trying on a 35g?

    If you have a sump, no but if you don't, I would say yes. They seem to do an incredible job of keeping nutrients down.

    Quick question on lighting for a refugium what do I use lol!

    You can get a clamp light with aluminum reflector from Home Depot along with a 6500K 13W CFL bulb. Total cost of $13. This will do just fine and is what I use in my 55.

    Absolutely it works!

    I have mine stuffed with chaeto and lit by an inexpensive CFL desk lamp. I had a major cyno outbreak that has all but dissolved since I commissioned my AC70 refugium...
