    How accurate and reliable is it? Is it relatively easy to distinguish the colors on the color chart?

    Its rather vague,the readings in the lower range(0-10)are pretty hard to distinguish.It will allow you to know if you if you have a really high nitrate problem and will let you know if your nitrates are rising or decreasing.As to its accuracy I can't answer as Iv'e never compared it to another test kit.
