    i have been seeing a lot of magnet scrubbers out there. was wondering if anyone uses them and if they really that good at cleaning glass?

    I LIKE IT BUT I ALSO USE THE HAND HELD ONE QUITE FREQUENTLY. I LIKE HAVING BOTH ON HAND

    I leave mie in the tank 24/7 and use it for the green stuff that builds up every day. Use a razor blade for the tough stuff.

    I use an old credit card! Have never tried the magnet scrapers but I've heard good things about them.

    thats all I use. No really hard to clean stuff yet.I leave it in a spot near PH cant see it

    I tried one many years ago. Mine would always fly off, guess I was too spastic!

    I hear Tunze makes nice ones now.

    Mag Float's probably greatly improved over years.

    I honestly cannot get mine to "part" if stuck together evenly.

    - am still very reluctant to use right along sand bed - am too worried about catching up a grain of sand and scratching tank. So I leave that little bit for the snails, or hand scrape if it gets out of hand (which it rarely does).

    Whatever kind, get the strongest "pull" possible, esp. if you have thick glass.
