    Ok so I went to my moms house and her boyfriend asked me if I knew what this was. I have no clue so maybe y'all can help. Sorry for the pic I did the best I could. Its the little purplish thing. [​IMG]

    Looks like an asterina starfish, that's all I can think of.

    Since you only saw it once today for like 2 mins, if it doesn't move, how does it disappear? It must be mobile or you would always be able to observe it.
    The pic is kind of tiny, but it looks like an Asterina. A better (and bigger) pic would be nice.

    Well the reason I only got two mins of it is bc its in my mom's boyfriend's tank, and right before I left their house they asked me what it was.
